1. Introductory Discussion Post and Sharing of Class Data
Description
Your first official global collaboration assignment is to create an introductory post in your Topic Group's discussion forum. Included in your post will be an introduction of yourselves, your school, your topic, something you look forward to learning by working with your global peers, a brief initial summary of the class's survey results, and the raw data collected from your class.
You will then gather the data from the other classes participating in the project. When communicating with other groups, be sure to use appropriate academic language and accountable talk strategies.

***IF YOU ARE COMPLETELY AGAINST COMPLETING A VIDEO:
You must include a picture of your group, and all of the above information written out in the post.

3. End the post with a positive message about working with your global partner groups on synthesizing your topic's data.
4. Before submitting your post, make sure to choose that your response is part of assignment 1.
COLLECTING OTHER CLASSES' DATA:
1. Always start with a positive opening.
2. Use the accountable talk strategies and sentence starters to guide the language of your posts.
